“I used to think as I looked at the Hollywood night, ‘there must be thousands of girls sitting alone like me, dreaming of becoming a movie star. But I’m not going to worry about them. I’m dreaming the hardest.” – Marilyn Monroe

Yes. Us too
.

After two sellout premieres in Seattle and Portland, the buzz is continuing to grow! The Los Angeles Premiere took place on November 11th in West Hollywood at the Laemmle’s Sunset 5 Theater and it was a tremendous success. We hope you were there.

An amazing theater, filled with wonderful staff and friends. And most of all… it was in Hollywood!

We were blessed to have our event hosted by Annie Burks, and supported by the editor, Felicia at LA Yoga, and Whole Life Times Magazine, both local publications to the greater Los Angeles area. Dr. Goswami joined us for the question and answers after the event, along with Betsy Chasse and Melissa Henderson of Intention Media, distributors for the Quantum Activist.

Khashyar Darvich, the filmmaker responsible for the Dalai Lama Renaissance was able to join us for the premiere, as well as an incredible organic lunch the day before on the rooftops of Hollywood. James Kerwin was able to join us for the screening as well, taking some time out from his successful film noir “Yesterday Was a Lie

The day before the film while Dr. Goswami was being interviewed by Dr. Nita Vallens at KPFK Radio, Renee and I took a walk down Santa Monica Blvd. into Beverly Hills. Now realize, we are yogis from the coast of Oregon.. so we had quite an introduction to what wealth can be there on Rodeo Drive. We had some great conversations with the shop keepers, oogled the gazillion dollar things, and was stupified by a custom Rolls Royce in front of one the shops. Luckily we were saved by our good friend Jangchub Chophel of Thubten Dargye Ling Tibetan Buddhist center. He then proceeded to show us the “Real LA”, and we went for miles of walking and wonderful satsang amongst the historical section of Los Angeles.

We had a great turnout, with close to 200 people showing up for the event. The film was introduced by a hilarious yogini by the name of  Vanda Mikoloski, that I proceeded to fall in love with through the course of the evening! There was such excitement after the film, everyone stayed on for the Q&A. Dr. Goswami helped answer addtional questions on the nature of reality, while we fielded the questions on filmmaking.

We were all happy to be drinking H2Ohm water, as the tap water in Los Angeles is akin to umm, municipal water? Blech. Amazing stuff this H2Ohm water is, as we are a bit of “water snobs”, as we have our own spring water at our home in the rain forest. But after the event… after flying back to Oregon, an open water bottle was still fresh upon our return. Wild!

It was difficult to get everyone herded into the lobby, but we did our best as another screening was scheduled after us. We proceeded to close the theater! The energy was amazing as we all talked about the implications of quantum physics, and their application in our lives. Yes!

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Thanks again for everyone who helped make this LA Premiere an exciting evening, and one that will be etched in our minds forever!

Next is our SouthWest Premiere in Phoenix Arizona in December 12. More information to come!
