Projects

I have researched, written about, taught on the connections between scribbling, drawing and writing for the past 25 years. Now, I am trying to figure out how the appropriate frequencies/waves involved in fetal and infant and early child hearing, seeing, and babbling/speaking encourage the healthy development of child, mind and body, and how, alternatively, incorrect and/or absent sonic and visual and language-based frequencies retard or damage the healthy development of the child as a language-using (speech and literacy) entity. To this end, I can only postulate research questions which others must answer using non-invasive brain scans and other measures for growth in very young children in connection with their hearing, vision and speech, and their abilities to attend, relate, read, write, speak and think.

What brings you here?

I watched the film “The Quantum Activist” last night on netflix, which got me thinking more about radical interconnectedness. I have already written “A Quantum Theory of Scribbling” and so am not unfamiliar with ideas from quantum physics, adding one of my own: SIT’s, or self-induced transparency as a quantum-to-consciousness aspect of quantum collapse. I feel these SIT’s, or moments of self-induced transparency occur when one uses marks of meaning (words, musical notes, mathematical symbols, images) to suddenly understand something in a moment of joyful transcendence/clarity.
