Gerald Walker
OVERVIEW
Gerald K. Walker is a Principal with Interactive America, Inc. A technology service consulting practice. Mr. Walker has twenty years experience with in the technology industry designing, executing, documenting, and testing technology environments to validate effectiveness of key controls; providing statistical analysis; assisting in preparation of reports on findings and recommending improvements in policies, procedures, and internal controls; performing IT risk/fraud assessments; and understanding application of guidance for COBIT, COSO, ITIL and Sarbanes-Oxley standards. Mr. Walker joined Secura in 2006 after serving for two years as Compliance Officer Capital Markets, Global Storage Management at Citigroup in New York where he provided IT-risk management advisory service, operational risk, and Sarbanes-Oxley consulting services within the application operating system services group (A/OSS). He developed and maintained Process Control Manuals (PCM) with workflow analysis for Citibank Technology Infrastructure group (CTI). Before that, he was IT-Security / Technology Implementer at AAWS Inc. where he established IT-audit policies and procedures based on COBIT, COSO, and ITIL Standards. Also, Instructed network administrators within (Wintel, UNIX, Mainframe, and network topology, Apps) to use IT-Security best practices to remediate audit issues. Mr. Walker also implemented company IT change management policy and procedures, as a requirement of internal IT-Audit. From 1997 to 2002, he was Technology Manager for Brooklyn Interac! tive Services where he was Project manager for major IT-Audit, risk assessment, and vulnerability assessment, for NYC Board of Education and the City University of New York. Mr. Walker is a graduate of the University of Chicago with a BS degree in Information Systems Management and earned a masters degree from New York University in Business Administration.
