Sabrina is the worst person in the world. I propose that a mate and altruism and radical interconnectedness is our biological need. Agree? Go! (not Jane’s Addiction, McLaughlin Group.) What is happening right now? Oh a child just starved to death, a woman was raped, a child was raped,…[Read more]

    • Do you think all suffering is bad? I think that without suffering some major breakthroughs would never have happened. i don’t want anyone to suffer, but at this time it is necessary to move us toward enlightenment.

You can be sure, there are some things worth fighting for. ”Life isn’t worth living unless it is lived for someone else.”- Albert Einstein I think he also said that we will become extinct without the world cooperating with a goal of altruism. Wow I would like to erase my previous posts, they hurt.

Additionally, because I said those things (lol) I will have subconsciously shot myself in the foot because I feel I’ve done something. ”I must be an acrobat to talk like this and act like that.” U2 -Be aware of Brain Tissue Thing’s nature.

Is Amit Jesus, seriously, I can’t be as extreme as Jesus because there aren’t enough peoiple to do it, there wasn’t enough people when He was here before or whatever. %00= isn’t enough is it and who is going to forget half assed reason-fear and really love? We are prisoners of social learning. Are you sure, I am! There are children starving,…[Read more]

Self interest is not selfish. Service without self is interest in the not self yet includes the self. Not self is both self motivated and not self motivated. One is a pattern.

I have to agree with most of what your saying Glen. We are all connected, help one, help all. So truism really seems to be a concept of this material world, and selflessness keeps us as individuals denying your own existence, if you only help one, instead of all. (Think about that one.) There is no such thing as “unconditional love.” As soon as…[Read more]

Here’s a question for the group:

Can any ”service” truly be selfless? Isn’t it really selfishness to believe in our unity, and try to do something for it? If you and I are one, aren’t I helping myself helping you?

    • Good question. I guess it depends on what dimension of us motivated us to serve, the ego or the higher self. Eckhart Tolle makes this distinction beautifully, when he says that the ”human being embodies two dimensions, the human (the form) and the being (the formless and timeless consciousness itself)”. The choices based on the ego are personal,…[Read more]

      • I guess I am just still confused….I don’t understand why the complete higher self that doesn’t have needs, has the need to serve the egos of others. And how can you be sure which one is helping? If i could tune into my higher self for any prolonged period of time to invoke a selfless act wouldn’t I already be enlightened? And if I was then…[Read more]

        • Hi Marajade, thanks for sharing your ideas with me. I´m afraid I don´t have answers for all your questions. Just like you, I´m still on the path. But I guess maybe ur confusion comes from the assumption that the higher self NEEDS to serve the ego of others ( I´d say not only their ego needs, but also their physical body ones. It is said that…[Read more]

        • Perhaps if there is a higher self there is also a higher ego. An ego may not be the best word for it. This higher ego is only satisfied by pursueing actions that seeks companionship and bringing other out of tha valley. It gets lonely up there.

As long as we are in this flesh we cannot only experience pure joy, love and inner peace we can…[Read more]

    • I just read your post, ri..
I’m not so good in English, I’m Thai but I would like to share my opinion. I feel that why we have to afraid of being selfishness and why we have to try so hard to be one?

I don’t know ri, I just feel that nothing to be afraid of..and we don’t have to try to be one.
Let it be what ever will be. I believe people…[Read more]

    • I believe we begin to bump up against semantics with this question. Terminology and language used to communicate are constructs of how we view the world now and has a history steeped in materialist thinking. Language for new areas that are emergent is often somewhat unclear and more difficult to grasp. Sometimes new terms need to be created to…[Read more]

      • I agree. How would we begin something like this? I think we should really look at the negative connotations associated with words like selfish, and the way we use words like selfless. Writers like Ayn Rand had a whole different perspective of selfishness. While a quantum activist might disagree with the principles of Objectivism, there is…[Read more]

    • Can any ”service” truly be selfless? Yes.
Isn’t it really selfishness to believe in our unity, and try to do something for it? No.
If you and I are one, aren’t I helping myself helping you? Yes

Sefless Service is trait of humans trait laid down in our DNA by God.

It is God’s way of creating Heaven.

    • In my younger days (18) I worked a job stopping shoplifters in a department store. It seemed cool and dangerous and put me in a position of authority. All the things an 18 year old self centered kid needs to kick his cool up a few notches. The first couple stops went horrible. I figured being a tough guy and intimidating them into returning the…[Read more]

    • This question and my previous long winded answer have now consumed hours of my day staring at a tree in wonderment. So if I may expand just a bit…

I agree with Glen that terminology and language are a bit of an issue here. To call an act selfless in relation to a universal consciousness means what? Who is the self in selfless in that case?

      I…[Read more]

      • Wow, this is so simple. I have asked those same two questions you have in your post, but I never thought of it like that. Thank you :)

    • I love paradoxes. To hold them both at bay.. to try to find the suchness of the question is one of my favorite past times.

I’ve been interested in Tibetan Buddhism, and they have a great thing called “Mind Training”. Without going into the nitty gritty, the idea of it is to flip things around so the merit goes to the other, instead of oneself.…[Read more]

Quantum activism has its roots in science. It is the Wonder that our place in the universe is knowable that is Quantum Activism’s greatest gift. From that perspective, it is our duty to chart the course for heaven and set the rudder.

Quantum Activism must be a movement for political and economic change. To affect change on the physical…[Read more]

The Question we all have to answer is, “Given the Quantum Activist Perspective, what can we do to facilitate Heaven on Earth. How do we move our reality to one that in the next instant, with our next decision, moves our collective reality closer to Heaven?”

While I appreciate that praying or thinking good thoughts makes a difference, the more…[Read more]
